HUD Funding

The City of Winston-Salem serves as the Collaborative Applicant for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Continuum of Care (CoC) and its member agencies.  In this capacity, the City applies for and administers Continuum of Care grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  The City also applies for and administers Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Program funds received from HUD and the State of North Carolina.

ESG CARES ACT FUNDING RELATED To COVID-19

The City of Winston-Salem is coordinating the CoC’s application for State ESG-CV funds.  For more information, please see:

Please note, the City needs information on your anticipated request by July 2, 2020 and applications are due to the City by July 10. 2020.  This is a very tight turn around.  For more information contact Tim West or Andrea Kurtz. 

Both City and State ESG funds are handled through the City’s Consolidated Application process.
